Lura C. Wilhelm Grisham, 93 died Wednesday, April 8, in Houston.

Funeral services were held Monday, at First United Methodist Church of Electra with Rev. Bob Lee officiating. Burial was held at Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.

Mrs. Grisham was born April 7, 1916 in Megargel, to Charlie and Alvina Wilhelm. She married Charlie Andrew “Blackie” Grisham June 18, 1935 in Wichita Falls. She was a member of Floral Heights United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls. Mrs. Grisham was formerly a resident of Electra before moving to Wichita Falls. She later moved to Houston where she lived the past 4 years. She had worked for Barrett’s Smart Shop, Mowery Brothers Dry Good Store and Electra Nursing Home. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Andrea Barker of Iowa Park; a son, Donald Grisham of Houston; five grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
