Bill Gene Bennett, 72, died Friday, April 11, 2008 in Iowa Park.

Memorial services were held Wednesday at Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Chaplain Jon Mark Fowler officiating. Services were under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Bennett was born July 14, 1935 in Oklahoma City, OK., to James Elbert and Laura Jane Bennett. He lived in Chickasha, Oklahoma prior to moving to Iowa Park. He was a Baptist and a self-employed designer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sisters, Betty J. Bartow of Iowa Park and Jewel ‘Judy’ Burdette of Garden Grove, CA.
