Alva (Laney) Sheets

Alva (Laney) Sheets, 94, of Iowa Park, died Tuesday, April 8.

Graveside services were held Friday at Crestview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Sheets was born March 13, 1914, to the late Sam and Betty Jane (Brather) Laney, in Bennington, OK. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oness Sheets on December 9, 1994; a brother; and seven sisters.

Survivors include four daughters, Norma Dickenson of Sacramento, CA., Shirley Henry of Frisco, Linda Harris of Iowa Park, and Judy McCarthy of Corpus Christi; a son, Freddie of Wichita Falls; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
