Luel Duffie
1926 - 2012

Luel Duffie, 85, of Vernon, died Monday, April 16, in Vernon.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry, Chris Bell and Darrell Monday officiating.

Mr. Duffie was born Oct. 2, 1926, and retired from Bristo Battery and Supplies in Jan. 2000.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Alene; a daughter, LuAnn Duffie of Vernon; a son, Larry of Iowa Park; a brother, A.J. of Vernon; a sister, Pat Scott of Tyler; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to First Baptist Church Youth or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
