Robert “Bob” Whitener

Robert “Bob” Whitener. 69, passed away on April 13, 2012 in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services were held Tuesday at the Cowboy Church in Henrietta, with Bro. Larry Miller officiating.

Bob was born July 31, 1942 to Robin and Ruth (McDonald) Whitener in Nocona.

He was a hunter and gun dealer and enjoyed spending time with his family and going to gun shows and he also enjoyed going on cruises with his wife Glenda. He was part owner in Armored Roofing until his retirement in 2006.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth McDonald Wilson; his father, Robin Whitener; and his wife, Glenda Finley Whitener in 2009.

Survivors include his children, Scott Whitener of Kadane Corner and Tammy Whitener Cook of Iowa Park; and three grandchildren.
