Les C Swisher
1960 – 2009

Les C Swisher, 49, died Monday, April 27, in Wichita Falls.

A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist Church.

Mr. Swisher was born April 24, 1960 in Casper, Wyo. He lived in Argentina South America and graduated high school in 1978 in Stavanger Norway. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid skier. He spoke fluent Norwegian and received a scholarship for writing an essay. He attended college in Wilburton, OK. and majored in Elementary Education. He worked in the oil field.

Survivors include his parents, Roger of Singapore and Elaine Swisher of Iowa Park; a son, Brandon of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Krystal of Wichita Falls; a brother, Elmo of Oklahoma; three sisters, Sandy Potter of Corinth, Tracy Flynt of Lake Kickapoo, and Brenda Curtin of Archer City; his grandmother, Cleo Swisher of Lake Dallas; and five grandchildren.
