Clarence Jackson Ritchie
1935 - 2008
Clarence Jackson “C.J.” Ritchie, 72, passed away Wednesday at his Iowa Park residence.

Memorial services were held Saturday at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Spear, pastor, officiating. A private burial was held at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.
Mr. Ritchie was born Oct. 20, 1935, in Montague County, to James Jackson and Vera Geneva Lewis Ritchie. He and Loretta Jean Bowerman were married June 24, 1954, in Nocona. He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He served as an airplane mechanic and was a veteran of Vietnam. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he was a Civil Service electronic technician for 25 years, before his retirement in 2005. He was also a private pilot and was active in his church until his illness several years ago.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Karen Ritchie of Frisco, Brenda Rainbolt of Wichita Falls, Alica Cipolla of Spring, and Melinda Whitley of Iowa Park; three sisters, Clarice Cole of Henderson, Roxie Ann Walker of Lawton, OK., and Glenellen Winters of Grand Prairie; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, or to the Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park Building Fund.
