Shirley Ann (Stafford) Bond
1945 - 2014

Shirley Ann (Stafford) Bond, 68, passed away Sunday, April 27, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the First Christian Church with Pastor Roger Deerinwater officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, in the Reception Room at Dutton Funeral Home.

Shirley was born June 1, 1945, in Houston, to Obie and Georgie (Hayes) Stafford. She attended school in Haskell, and Carnegie, OK., and graduated from Electra High School, Electra. She married Teddy G. Bond May 26, 1963. They celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. Shirley and Ted lived in Oklahoma City, OK., where she owned and operated an accounting service. In 1983, they moved to Arlee, MT., where they lived until 2008, when they bought their home in Iowa Park. From that time until the present, they lived in Montana during the summer months and returned to Texas for the winter. Recently retired, the couple returned to Iowa Park to live year-round.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Donald of Arlee, MT.; and a sister, Linda Posey, of Iowa Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Billie Jan Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Arlee Senior Citizens Center in Arlee, MT., where she volunteered her time for many years.

Messages of condolence may be shared with the family at duttonfuneralhome.com.
