Eddie Allen Tigrett
1944 - 2016

Eddie Allen Tigrett, 71, of Iowa Park, passed away Friday.

A Celebration of life was held Tuesday at Grace Church of Wichita Falls with Reggie Coe and Tom Rodgers, officiating.

Arrangements were under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A son of the late Edward Lee and Lola Faye (Erwin) Tigrett, Eddie was born on Sept. 9, 1944, in Electra. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Yorktown. In his younger years, he enjoyed boxing for the Navy and the Golden Gloves, and helped to organize the Top of Texas Football League. He was a member of Grace Church. He owned and operated TNT Signs and Graphics, and the Texoma Sr. Men’s Golf Tournament. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and cooking.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Danny Tigrett.

Survivors include wife of 33 years, Jan Tigrett of Iowa Park; three sons, Scott Tigrett of Lakeside City, Jeff Tigrett of Victoria, and David Pope of Wichita Falls; brothers and sister, Bill Tigrett of Crockett, Sharon Swindell of Nacogdoches, and Paul Tigrett of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
