Edward C. Schumann
1942 - 2011

Edward C. “Ed” Schumann, 68, died Sunday, May 8, in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services were held Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Gonzales, pastor, officiating.

Schhumann was born Aug. 7, 1942, in Vernon to Charlie and William, Jr. and Evelyn (Koenig) Schumann. He was a veteran who served in the US Navy. He retired from Certainteed after 26 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Bev (Hodge) Schumann of Wichita Falls; his mother, Evelyn; two sons, Charles of Kamay, and Brian Craig of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Charlotte Polone of Whitesboro, and Krystal Bobbitt; a brother, Larry of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
