Sue Ann Shaffer
Sue Ann Shaffer, 75, died Monday, May 21.

Services were held Wednesday at Lamar Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Cook officiating. Burial was held in Crestview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Shaffer was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Gould, OK., to Herb and Zetta (Teakell) Cannedy. She graduated Petrolia High School in 1949. She and Bill Shaffer were married July 4, 1956, in Wichita Falls. She was active in her church, including the choir and teaching Sunday School.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a son, Dr. Wesley Scott Shaffer.

Survivors include her husband; two children,, Tracy and Joe Charles, both of Austin; three sisters, Bobby Joyce Dowdy, Peggy Ruth Perkins, and Nancy Jolene Pepper, all of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Glendale and Harland Cannedy, both of Iowa Park; and four grandchildren.
