Raymond Merrill Carroll

Raymond Carroll, 45, passed away Saturday, May 21, in Wichita Falls.
Services were held Tuesday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Hodgkins officiating.

Mr. Carroll was born Oct. 16, 1965 in Vernon, to C.M. ‘Rabbit’ and Katherine ‘Kitty Lou’ Burkhalter Carroll. He graduated from Hirschi High School and had worked for 23 years at Tranter, Inc in Wichita Falls before his illness. He had been a Boy Scout leader for many years and was an avid car collector. He enjoyed country music.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kitty Lou Lynch.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Patterson of Burkburnett; four sons, Robert Gardner of Byers, Dustin Carroll of Lubbock, Christopher Carroll of Iowa Park and Kendall Patterson of Burkburnett; a daughter, Kristal Patterson of Burkburnett; his father and step mother, Rabbitt and Carol of Duncan, OK.; a sister, Eva Tyler of Wichita Falls; a brother, Ronald of Iowa Park; and four grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
