Harlan Dale Lowe
1953 - 2011

Harlan Dale Lowe, 57, passed away Wednesday, May 18, at his home in Electra.

Services were held Sunday at Aulds Funeral Home of Electra with Charles Nichols, pastor of Hillside Baptist Church officiating. Interment was held in Electra Memorial Park.

Harlan was born Nov. 5, 1953, to Hays Dean and Melissa Rice Lowe in Electra, where he was a life time resident. He and Tracey Lowe were married May 24, 1974. He was an avid collector of coins, knives, and lighters. He played many musical instruments and had been a member of several bands throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1964 and his mother in 2011.

Survivors include his wife of Electra; two daughters, Melissa Horton and Maggie Meil, both of Electra; a son, Harlan of Iowa Park; a sister, Laura Lee Dillard of Midland; a stepsister, Lajuana Jean Boyd; two stepbrothers, Gary Dean and Steven H; and eight grandchildren.
