Peggy Jo Underwood Thompson, 69, died Thursday, May 19, in Iowa Park.

Memorial services were held Monday at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Pearce officiating.

Peggy was born Sept. 8, 1941, in Wichita Falls, to Ray and Celia (Shook) Underwood. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. She worked as a bookkeeper for Koonce Oil Company for several years and later for Park Tank Truck Service and was a lifelong resident of Iowa Park.

Her parents and a brother, Richard, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Troy of Iowa Park and Kevin of Columbia, MO.; a brother, J.C. Bridges of Iowa Park; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

The family suggest memorials be made to American Hospice, 4210 Kell Blvd, Suite 211, Wichita Falls, Texas 76309.
