Clyde Benjamin Haynes
1911 - 2009

Clyde Benjamin Haynes, 98, of Iowa Park, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, in Iowa Park.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls with Bruce Burks, Pacific Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. Services were under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.

Mr. Haynes was born March 12, 1911 in Shirley, AR. He married Eunice Ashcraft on January 1, 1932 in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a farmer and rancher, and had lived in the Iowa Park area 48 years. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, and was a lifetime member of the Wichita County Mounted Patrol.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice; father, Zack H. Haynes; his mother, Alta (Gibbins) Haynes; and a daughter, Helen (Haynes) Colwell.

Survivors include three sons, Don and Joe, both of Iowa Park and Dale of Nocona; a brother, Herbert of Chicago Heights, IL.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great -grandchildren.
