Victor George Neal

Victor George Neal, 82, of Burkburnett, passed away Thursday, May 21, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Burkburnett with pastor Don Pellikan officiating. Interment followed in Burkburnett Cemetery.

Mr. Neal was born Feb. 3, 1927, in Sorento, IL. He attended school in Sorento and continued his education at Greenville College in Greenville, IL. He and Shirley Reed were married Oct. 7, 1951. He retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service and was a World War II veteran. He was a resident of Burkburnett 38 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Georgianna Greenway of Burkburnett; two sons, Richard of Amarillo, and Greg of Iowa Park; two sisters, Dorothy Hackman of Punta Gorda, FL.,and Mildred Alvarez of Mechanicsburg, PA.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, m emorials be made to Scottish Rite Childrens Hospital in Dallas.
