Frederick G. Marsh, 85, of Wichita Falls died Thursday, May 24, in Wichita Falls.
Memorial services were held Saturday, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Dennis Neal of Faith Baptist Church.

Fred was born June 12, 1926, in Covington KY to Louis E. and Virginia Hurd Marsh.

He served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II on the USS Endymion, ARL-9. He also served in the Army with the 19th Infantry Regiment (Rock of Chickamauga) during the Korean Conflict and served in the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from the military after 20 years. He worked for the Post Office for 20 years and for Disney World for 10 years before retiring at age 82. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park.

Mr. Marsh is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Doris; three sisters, Nancy, Bernice, Marjorie; and four brothers, Hobert, Bud, Wesley, and Harlan.
Survivors include his children, Frederick Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Linda Cain of Wichita Falls, and Harlan of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
