Marie Adams
Marie Adams, 78, of Odessa, died Saturday, May 26, in Odessa.

Graveside services were held Tuesday with Rev. Steve Beckwith officiating. Interment was held in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Adams was born March 6, 1929, in Bynum. She was the daughter of James E. and Martha (Taylor) Isbell. She grew up in Hillsboro and married Orville Adams Jan. 18, 1947. He preceded her in death April 1, 1983. In 1964 she moved to Burleson where she was a member of Crestmont Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Treon Johnson of Iowa Park; a son, Hoot of Odessa; four sisters, Melba Waller of Wichita Falls, Marilyn Redke of College Station, Lowayne Pollard of Zachery, LA., and Doris Cornelius; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
