Ronnie Dewayne “Bear” Fairchild, 57, passed away Monday, June 2, in Wichita Falls.
Memorial Services were held Wednesday at the Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Correl, Pastor, Northside Baptist Church in Iowa Park, officiating.

Mr. Fairchild was born August 24, 1950 in Wichita Falls to A.L. and Violet Marie (Sprayberry) Fairchild. He attended Wichita Falls High School and received an Associate’s Degree from Vernon College. He worked for The Treatment Center as a Substance Abuse Counselor five years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Theresa Gillespie.
Survivors include his wife, Chandra (Quick) Fairchild of Iowa Park; a son, Dylan Fairchild of Iowa Park; two daughters, Nina Fairchild, of Iowa Park and Gayle Porter of Paris; and six grandchildren.
