Darlene Pruett

Darlene Pruett, 67, passed away Monday, June 4, in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. today, at the Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 4815 Fairway Blvd., Wichita Falls.

Mrs. Pruett was born Jan. 29, 1945, to Richard Stephen Cox and Verna Buffington Cox. She married Jerry Lee Pruett Oct. 5, 1959 in Wichita Falls. She was a home health care provider and was a member of the Lakeview Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter Pamela Darlene Pruett; and sisters Melba Dean Sluder and Wanda Jean Kennedy; and a brother Olen Cox.

Survivors include her children Jerry Allen Pruett of Iowa Park, Jimmy Lee Pruett of Big Spring, Tammy Diane Pruett and Andy Ray Pruett, both of Holliday, Randy Wayne Pruett of Mesa, AZ., and Brandy Kay Robertson of Wichita Falls; a sister Linda Speegle of Holliday; brothers Donald Cox of Hereford and Clent Cox of Ft. Worth; 18 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
