Hallie ‘Nannie’ Brock

Hallie “Nannie” Brock, 81, passed away Saturday, June 12. in Wichita Falls.
Services were held Tuesday in Lunn’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Free officiating. Burial was held in Crestview Cemetery.
Mrs. Brock was born March 1, 1930, to Carvey and Alma (Bobbitt) Baker in Paducah. She went to beauty school in Artesia, N.M. She owned and operated her first shop in Maljamer, N.M., and after moving to this area had her own shop for many years in Valley View and Kamay. She and Roy Leon Brock were married June 30, 1946, in Archer City. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church and had previously been a member of Kamay Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed reading and tending her rose garden. She also enjoyed taking her dog for rides.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on March 24, 1999.
Survivors include three daughters, Kay Brock Moore of Conroe, Judy Brock Birdwell of Holliday, and Linda Brock Coats of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Oleta Rotz of Wichita Falls and Janice Richardson of Abilene; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
