Robert “Bob” Whatley
1934 - 2018

Robert “Bob” Whatley, 83, of Wichita Falls, passed away Monday, June 11.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Franks, Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park, officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Cumby Cemetery in Chico.

Bob was born on June 12, 1934, to Walker and Gertrude Whatley in Park Springs. He was an auto parts manager in Iowa Park for 52 years. He was a manager for Danny Coffman at D-C Auto. He had many hobbies including bowling, trips to the lake, Vegas trips, and family time at reunions. He was also a Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, C.J. Whatley, Floyd Ray Whatley, and Jerry Whatley; and one sister, Jackye Whatley.

Survivors include two daughters, LaWanna Johnson of Scotland, and Cynthia Whatley of Orange Park; four sisters, Anita Long, Nell Walker, Dot Whatley and Shirley Cary. a brother, Leland Whatley; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Children’s Charity of your choice.
