Frank V. Nava
Frank V. Nava, 71, of Vernon died Saturday, June 9. in Vernon.
Services were held Tuesday at First Assembly of God with Rev. Phillip Weitner officiating. Burial was held in Eastland cemetery.
Mr. Nava was employed with the City of Vernon as a foreman in the Sanitation Department, and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie; five daughters, Rosetta Phillips, Mary Swindle, Debra Cook, Sandra Turkett, and Christy Nava, all of Vernon; four sons, Jimmy, Nicky, and Mike, all of Vernon, and Cody of Wichita Falls; four sisters, Bea Tole of Wichita Falls, Builla Rodriguez of Vernon, Stella Evanson of Iowa Park, and Thelma Jackson of Mineral Wells; six brothers, Bobby, Ken, Julian, and Delmer, all of Vernon, Billy of Mesquite, and Ricky of Perkins, OK; 28 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
