Dorothy Taylor
Dorothy Taylor, 86, of Wichita Falls died Friday, June 8.

Services were held Tuesday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Finley of Grace Baptist Church in Iowa Park officiating.

Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Taylor was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Wichita Falls, to L.B. and Carolyn (Boyston) Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Deward Laverne Taylor on May 14, 2004; and three daughters Patricia Taylor Wilson, and Carol and Roby Taylor.

Survivors include seven daughters, Carla Leonard of Iowa Park, Sharon Levell, Jodi Van Camp, Rita Broussard, Sandi Lawson, Kathy Taylor and Terry Taylor, all of Wichita Falls; four sons, Raymond W., Donny and Bobby, all of Wichita Falls, Tommy of Miles, WY.; two sisters, Katherine Reynolds and Rita Bishop, both of Livingston; 39 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Doe’s Drove No. 154.
