Frances Pearl (Hatcher) Underwood
Frances Pearl (Hatcher) Underwood, 82, of Iowa Park, died Thursday, June 7, 2007.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2007, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, with Pastor John Hare, officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late James Van and Alice Flora (Eaton) Johnson, she was born January 25, 1925, in Iowa Park. Mrs. Underwood worked as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her son, James Van Hatcher in 1949 and by her husband Oscar Eugene Underwood in 1986.

Survivors include her sons, Ronnie “Hatch” Hatcher and wife, Susie, Terry Hatcher and Jerry Hatcher, all of Iowa Park; four grandchildren, Michelle Holloway, Amber Hatcher, Jamie Hatcher and James Redwine; four great-grandchildren, Nicole Schroeder, Josh Rhoades, Abby Gillner and C. J. Holloway.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
