Alice Ann Wirmel
1927 - 2011

Alice Ann Wirmel. 83, of Wichita Falls passed away Wednesday, June 8, in a area hospital.

Graveside services were held Saturday at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Merwin Turner officiating.

Mrs. Wirmel was born Oct. 7, 1927, in Iowa Park to the late Eli Copeland and Vida (Batchelor) Copeland. She and George W. Wirmel, Jr. were married Dec. 5, 1953 in Iowa Park and he preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1990. She was a member of Floral Heights United Methodist Church, where she had been active for many years in the Anniversary Sunday School Class.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin on April 7, 2011.

Survivors include a son, Terry of Iowa Park; and two granddaughters.
