Roy Douglas Parks
Roy Douglas Parks, 55, died Wednesday, June 13, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Monday at Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel with Chaplain Teri Whitgrove officiating. Interment was held at Crestview Memorial Park.

Mr. Parks was born Sept. 4, 1055, in Wichita Falls, to Jack and Mildred Parks. He joined the Marine Corps in 1971. After working in the family produce business serving Texoma and the surrounding, he decided on a career in engineering,

attending and graduated Vernon College. He was employed at Sheppard Air Force Base working in the 82nd Civil Engineering as a computer draftsman. He and his wife Debbie were married April 5, 2003.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife; their children, D. Michael Parks, Amanda Bailey, Velvet Trotter, Angela Gutierrez, Jeremy Nowlin, and John Brinlee; brothers, Virgil Parks of Iowa Park, and Terry; sisters, Linda Parks Jackson, Charla Kay Parks Martin, and Cathy Parks Melton; and 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests, donates of time or money to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Rod., 76310.
