Tommy George Brake
1927 - 2013

Tommy George Brake, 85, of Wichita Falls passed away Monday, June 17, at home.

Funeral services were conducted Friday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Pastor John Clark officiating. Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.

A son of the late Georgia (Winn) and Ralph Brake, Tommy was born on Oct. 17, 1927, in Elmer, OK. On Jan. 28, 1950, he and Norma Jean Kendrix were married in Altus, OK. He was a truck driver.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Brake and Grady Brake; and a sister, Loucyle Robnett.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Brake; three sons, Tommy B. Brake and Ronald Brake, both of Wichita Falls, and Arnold Brake of Iowa Park; a daughter, Daphne Davis; two brothers, Harold Brake of Wichita Falls, and Kenneth Brake of Waurika, OK; two sisters, Martha Vaughan of Lawton, OK. and Karen Bartling of Altus, OK: and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
