Cody Meador

Cody Meador, 69, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, June 22, in his home.

Memorial services were held Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls.
Cody was a machinist by trade and a mental health worker for many years. After retirement, he was a part of a trio of avid fishermen, and enjoyed spending time with his family, playing music, and tinkering in his garage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cody Franklin and Mary Pearl Meador; and a brother, Wendell, all of Iowa Park.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; three sons, Ben, Derek, and Geoff, all of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Janna Perry of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Larry and Ronald, both of Iowa Park; three sisters, Sharon Sexton, Donna Trahan, and Gloria Skinner, all of Iowa Park; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Presbyterian Manor’s Good Samaritan Fund or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
