Jesse E. Anthony, Jr.

Jesse Edwin “Junior” Anthony, Jr., 71, of Vernon died Monday, June 29, in Vernon.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. David Fox officiating. Burial will be held in Wilbarger Memorial Park.

Mr. Anthony served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. He worked for Southwest Rural Electric for 20 years, and Pat Waggoner Electric and Waggoner Estate for 17 years.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Vernon; a daughter, LeeAnn Maldonado of Vernon; a son, Jason of Vernon; two brothers, Jim of Iowa Park and Freddie of Argyle; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be made to Wilbarger General Hospital Auxiliary or favorite charity.
