Margaret Kate Emanuel Carter

Margaret Kate Emanuel Carter, 101, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, at Willowbrook Nursing Center in Nacogdoches.

A service to honor the memory of Margaret was held on Saturday July 2, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home with Rev. John Bingham officiating.

A private interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park at a later date.

Mrs. Carter was born in Iowa Park October 15, 1909, to Frank Lewis and Kate Holmes Stone Emanuel.

She is survived by daughter, Peggy Carter Price of Nacogdoches.

The family suggest memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church, Nacogdoches, TX or Heart to Heart Hospice, 1320 S. John Redditt, Suite A, Lufkin Texas 75904.
