1938 - 2010

Kenneth W. Sosebee, 71, of Wichita Falls died Friday, July 2, in Wichita Falls.

Services were held Wednesday at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey McMurry officiating. Burial was held in Crestview Memorial Park.

Mr. Sosebee was born Sept. 15, 1938, in Wichita Falls, to Albert and Era Weatherly Sosebee. He served in the National Guard. He was a truck driver and a member of Wichita Falls East Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. He enjoyed racing cars, building them and watching car races. He also enjoyed dancing and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Burlon.

Survivors include his wife, Linda L. of 22 years; his children, Ricky Wayne Sosebee of Electra, Johnny Earl Sosebee of Iowa Park, Deborah Lynn McIlroy of Colorado Springs, CO., Tammie Renae Green, William O. Bogart, and Sherry Brazil, all of Wichita Falls, and Brenda Beaver of Burkburnett; two sisters, Wanda Fuhrman and Nelda Hickman, both of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
