Darlene Jeanne Wright

IOWA PARK – Darlene Jeanne (Jackson) Wright, age 71, a resident of Iowa Park for 43 years, died Monday, July 5, 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Mr. Charles Goodgion officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dutton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wright was born January 3, 1939 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Silas Floyd and Elaine Mae (Chesser) Jackson. She and Roy Wright were married January 25, 1957 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She was a member of Crestview Church of Christ of Wichita Falls and a homemaker.

Her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by Roy of Iowa Park; children, Dana Myers of Alamosa, Colorado, Melynda Mitchell and husband, Danny of Wichita Falls, Texas, Gerald Dean Wright of Yukon, Oklahoma, Lesa Green and husband, Ray of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Anita Brantley and husband, Greg of Wichita Falls, Texas, Richard Wright and wife, Cheryl of Iowa Park, Texas, Sandra Assel and husband Kevin of Kingston, Missouri and Kristen Pace and husband Stephen of Charleston, South Carolina; sisters, Betty Lou Maston of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Carolyn Wilson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; brothers, Kenneth Jackson of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Phillip Jackson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel.
