Dafford Gambill

Dafford was born November 8, 1949 and departed to his final home on July 8, 2017. He was born in Wichita Falls, TX to Dafford O. and Virgina Adcock Gambill. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Byers, TX.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the pavilion at Highland Cemetery, Iowa Park, TX with Bro. James Kennum officiating. Following the service, there will be a lunch and fellowship held at Hawes Road Community Church off of 367 in Iowa Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Miser Gambill; daughters and spouses, Lennie and Larry Fowler, Judy and James Payton; sons, Gary Miser and AC and Allene Miser. He was a proud Poppa D to 7 grandkids, 9 great grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Faye Pittman, Wanda Alpers, Mary Lyons and a brother, Kenneth Gibbons.
