Leonard Keith Parker
1935 - 2008
Leonard Keith Parker, 72, of Iowa Park, died Saturday, July 19, in Iowa Park.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, July 27, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls, with Jessie Rowe, officiating.

Mr. Parker was born August 2, 1935, in Crete, to John Leonard and Mildred (Nichols) Parker. He was a minister for the Church of Christ, and had preached in Leakey, Giddings, Brenham, Lake Sommerville, Paducah, Iowa Park, and Wichita Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Patrick Shepherd.

Survivors include three sons, John Dale of San Francisco, CA., Berry Lynn of Kingsbury, and Wesley Kevin of Waco; a daughter, Laura Keigh Shepherd of Haslett; three brothers, Bernard of League City, Jimmy of Cuero, and Randy of Missouri City; a sister, Erma Evans of Pleasanton; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be made to Westview Boys Home.
