Darrell Wayne Fisher
1955 - 2014

Darrell Wayne Fisher, 58, of Wichita Falls, passed away Friday, July 25.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Christ Gospel Church with Rev. Ken Matthews, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.

A son of the late Bennie and Norma Jean (Frayne) Fisher, Darrell was born on Nov. 18, 1955, in Wichita Falls. He married Glenda Hallmark on Aug. 15, 1985. He retired after 22 years from the Wichita County Precinct 1 Road Maintenance Crew. He was a member of Christ Gospel Church where he served as deacon, greeter, maintenance man, and bus driver. He enjoyed cooking, having BBQ’s, fishing, bargain hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife; seven children, Scotty Kemper, Bobby Fisher, Steven Fisher, all of Wichita Falls, Benjamine Fisher of Natural Bridge, VA., Kristy Stone of Iowa Park, Chris Kemper of Pocahontas, AR., and Daniel Lakin of Burkburnett; a sister, Arminda Earley, of Wichita Falls; a brother, Danny Fisher of Dean; and 19 grandchildren.
