Barbara Mayberry
1940 - 2012

Barbara Mayberry, 71, of Henrietta, passed away on Sunday, July 29, in Denton.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Graves Cemetery in Jack County, with Brother Jim Strickland, pastor of the Texoma Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.

Mrs. Mayberry was born on Nov. 19, 1940, in Jack County, to S.T. and Ruby (Bilbury) McKenzie. She married Bruce Mayberry on June 1, 1959 in Iowa Park, and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church in Iowa Park. She was retired from the Civil Service at Shepherd Air Force Base.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Billy; and two sisters, Betty Olscher and Sandy Stephens.

Survivors include her husband of Henrietta; one daughter, Becky Gray of Henrietta; two sons, Stan Mayberry of Wichita Falls and Shane Mayberry of Henrietta; one sister, Linda Santa Anna of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials may be made to the Clay County Animal Shelter at 509 N. Carroll St., Henrietta, Texas 76365.
