Katherine Burkhalter Carroll Lynch, 76, died Tuesday, July 24, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Services were at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007 at Holliday Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. John Kay officiating. Burial was held at Holliday Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lynch was born September 11, 1930, in Electra, Texas to Raymond and Katherine Nesbitt Burkhalter. She married George Lynch and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, John Tyler and a great-granddaughter, Cynthia Tyler.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ronald and Everette Carroll of Iowa Park, Texas; a son, Raymond Carroll of Iowa Park, Texas; five grandsons, Roy and Eric Tyler, Dusty and Chris Carroll, and Jay Burks; two granddaughters, Sonja Oliver and Teresa Menchaca; and eight great-grandchildren.
