Pauline “Polly” Loyd
1931 - 2008
Pauline “Polly” Loyd, 76, of Kamay, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, in Wichita Falls.
Services were held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Holliday with Micky Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Holliday Cemetery.

Mrs. Loyd was born to John H. Hamm and Zeta May Hamm on Dec. 28, 1931, in Ferris. She was a graduate of Ferris High School and attended the University of North Texas. She and Raymond LaMoyne Loyd were married Nov. 9, 1950, in Ferris. As a military wife, she traveled to many countries as well as state side bases including Wichita Falls. She moved to Kamay in 1967, and was a homemaker and enjoyed decorating cakes. She was a member of Mankins Baptist Church where she taught the ladies Sunday school class.

Survivors include her husband, of Kamay; a son, Gary of Ferris; two daughters, Kathy Spence of Kenosha, WI., and Becky Hastings of Kamay; nine grandchildren; and several foster children.
