Robert “Bobby” Joe Tucker
1928 - 2017

Robert “Bobby” Joe Tucker, 89, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 5, in Wichita Falls

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Highland Cemetery Pavilion with Chaplain Starkovich Forster officiating.

He was born on May 26, 1928, in Wichita Falls to the late John R. Tucker and Maggie E. Brown Tucker. On Jan. 9, 1954, he married Lona Pearl Latham in Wichita Falls. She preceded him in death on Feb. 8, 2016. He retired from Joy Manufacturing in Wichita Falls and was a member of Lamar Baptist Church. He served in the United State Marine Corp and was a board member and very active with the Boys and Girls Club.

Survivors include a son, Lynn Tucker of Iowa Park; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Loyd Tucker; five sisters, Josephine Baker, Irene Hibbs, Margaret Fay Johnson, Patsy Wilson and Betty Haynie; and two brothers, J.R. Tucker and Jack A. Tucker.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Hopkins, Kelly Tucker, Kenny Tucker, Kevin Tucker, Marshal Tucker and Bobby Tucker.

The family suggest memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
