Janelle Timms, 80, of Iowa Park died Monday, Aug. 1.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Aug. 7, at the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Cantrell officiating.

Daughter of the late Jewell (Hayes) and Henry Cooper, Janelle was born Feb. 8, 1931 in Wichita Falls. She worked at Sheppard Air Force Base 30 years prior to her retirement in 1996.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Grady Cooper and Billy Cooper; sister, Peggy Felty; son, Charles (Butch) Adams.

Survivors include her husband, John Timms of Iowa Park; two daughters, Connie Pollard of Wichita Falls and Stacie Fischer of Iowa Park; son, Timmy Timms of Wichita Falls; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
