Acie Lee Spring, 78, passed away, Monday, in Wichita Falls.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.

Ms. Spring was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Wetumka, OK., to Ace and Ellie Gregory Thomas. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Evelyn Thomas; a brother, Boyd Thomas; two sisters, Minnie Garcia, and Barbara Braswell; and a great-granddaughter, Krista Ohm.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Cole of Wichita Falls, Wanda Countney of Burkburnett, and Judy Ohm of Iowa Park; two sons, Loyd Cole, Jr. of Wichita Falls, and Tony Cole of Holliday; a sister, Dollie Woodward of Vallejo, CA.; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
