Chuck Lewis, 79, of Wichita Falls died Saturday, Aug. 9, in Dallas.

Services were held Wednesday at Hampton Vaughan Chapel with Rev. Dennis Neal. Interment was held in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Lewis was born June 21, 1929, in Lynch, Ky., to Roscoe and Vina Lewis. Formerly of Garland, he had been a resident in Wichita Falls for the last 15 years. He served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years of service. After retirement from the military he was employed 30 years in retail sales. He was an avid golfer and played golf courses in many states.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlie Fears of Iowa Park, and Cindy Watson; a sister, Cathy Hutchinson; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
