Carmen Thea Irby Villarreal
1979 - 2008

Carmen Thea Irby Villarreal, 29, passed away Friday, August 8.

Memorial services were held Wednesday in the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.

Ms. Villarreal was born Nov. 30, 1979, in Wichita Falls. She attended Liberty Baptist Grade School, Iowa Park Junior High and graduated Iowa Park High School in 1998.

During school she was involved in many activities including choir and power lifting.

She was a member of the 1998 power lifting team that went to state finals in Austin. She served in the United States Military and graduated from Vernon College LVN School in 2006.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sue Irby, Marie Tidwell, and Ricardo and Elodia Villarreal.

Survivors include her mother, Cathy Tidwell and step-dad, Doug of Wichita Falls; her father, Rick Villarreal and step-mother, Teresa of Wichita Falls; her sister, Kelsey L. Tidwell of Wichita Falls; her brothers, Ernie, Ricky and Maverick; her sister, Gina; and her grandfathers, Fulton Irby, and Doug Tidwell Sr.
