William Grafton Partney

William Grafton Partney, age 103, of Wichita Falls, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at Dutton Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Dwight Parker of Grandfield, Oklahoma, officiating. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Mr. Partney was born July 17, 1908 in Velma, Oklahoma to Charles and Hattie (Stroud) Partney. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Iowa Park and was a bus driver and custodian for the Iowa Park CISD until his retirement. He was married to Cora Lee Hargrove until her death, Robbie Cope, until her death, and Zulette Madera until her death.

His parents, sons, Troy and Travis Partney, daughters, Bobbye Huckaby and Kathleen Hicks, sons-in-law, L.H. Hicks and George Huckaby, and a grandson, Micheal Partney, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Banks of Wichita Falls, Texas and Joye Robertson and husband, Loyd of Iowa Park, Texas; a brother, Cecil Partney of Adair, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to a volunteer fire department of your choice or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
