Peggy Ruth Jeter Sullivan, 77, of Archer City passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, in Keller.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Smith officiating.

Mrs. Sullivan was born Feb. 22, 1933, in Kamay, to the late Jesse Ray Jeter and Anna Lorene Revier Jeter. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church and was a retired banker, after 47 years of service. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society for years and was a member of the Eastern Star and former member of the Archer City Chamber of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Elizabeth Hamilton.

Survivors include two children, Michael Clyde Woods of Paradise and Ann Elizabeth Shelton of Fort Worth; a sister, Mary Katherine Rigsby of Amarillo; a brother, Donald Ray Jeter of Woodward, OK.; a granddaughter; and one great-grandchild.
