Jimmie Ray Goodner, 65, of May, died Saturday, Aug. 18.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home with Mike Wells officiating.

A son of the late Martha (Haddox) and Jimmie C. Goodner, Jimmie was born Oct. 5, 1946, in Wichita Falls. He served in the Army.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Lee.

Survivors include four daughters, Tammera Smith of Iowa Park, Tina Latham of Lake Arrowhead, Kimberly Brown of Lawton, and Jamie Goodner of May; a son, Jimmie Goodner of May; three brothers, William and Rick Goodner, both of Brownwood, and Harold Goodner of Holliday; three sisters, Diana Prater, Janet Jackson, and Tammy Fernandez; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or Patsy’s House Children’s Advocacy.
