Alvin Lee Swindall, 83, passed away Aug. 29, in Wichita Falls.

He was born Feb. 2, 1929, to John and Leonna Swindall in Electra.

He married Mary Veitch May 15, 1958 in Roswell, N.M.. Alvin enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working in his yard. He lived in this area for 79 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson Edward Fountain II.

Survivors include his wife Mary of Wichita Falls; his children, Brenda Bussey of Wichita Falls, Mary Koger of Dodgeridge, AR., and Bobby Swindall, Ella Mae Swindall, Alvin W. Swindall all of Wichita Falls, and Patricia Pearce of Iowa Park, a sister Mae Level of Albuquerque, N. M. seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
