Bobby Lee “Red” Andrus
Bobby Lee “Red” Andrus, 67, died Wednesday, August 22, in Wichita Falls.
Services were held Saturday in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Pastor John Liggett officiating. Interment followed at Crestview Memorial Park.
Mr. Andrus was born July 27, 1940, in Wichita Falls to the late Welcome and Vera Andrus. He served in the United States Army Reserves from 1961 to 1964, and later did carpentry work. He and Kirby Doris Blay were married Jan. 27, 1983. He enjoyed fast pitch softball. Later he enjoyed golf, fishing, having cookouts, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Buster Floyd.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Robert of Tulsa, OK., Ray of Wichita Falls, Kelly of Sweetwater, Dewayne Schroeder of Lake Arrowhead, and Ronie Schroeder of Kamay; three daughters, Kim Pharries and Fanie McCurdy, both of Wichita Falls, and Rhonda Weckar of Kamay; two brothers, Wendell of El Paso, and Norvel of Houston; 26 grandchildre; and eight great-grandchildren.
