Michial David Brady

Michial David Brady, 51, of Cumming, GA, died suddenly on August 27, 2007.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, September 2, at First Christian Church of Iowa Park with Gary House officiating.

A memorial will also be held tonight at McDonald and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming.

Michial was born January 10, 1956, in Mishawaka, Ind. to Sarah Elizabeth and David Alan Brady.

He graduated Iowa Park High School in 1974 and Midwestern State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was active in Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity.

For 29 years, Michial worked for UPS and most recently was corporate manager for the company. He began his career with UPS in Wichita Falls, moved to the Dallas area in 1983, and to Atlanta in 1996.

He married his high school sweetheart, Kellie Hamilton, July 15, 1978, at First Christian Church in Iowa Park.

Michial’s greatest love was for his family and spent much of his time engaged in activities with Kellie and their children. He also enjoyed time spent with friends, travelling, his Harley, golf, gardening and his famous practical jokes.

He is preceded in death by his father; his sister, Tina; and brother, Patrick.

Michial is survived his wife, Kellie Hamilton Brady; his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Alicia Brady of Atlanta, GA; his daughters, Lindsey Brady of Syracuse, NY and Allison Brady of Cumming, GA; his mother, Sarah Elizabeth Brady of Iowa Park; his sister and brother-in-law, Sheri and Randy Heidrich of Iowa Park, brother- in-law Kevin Hamilton of Iowa Park; sisters-and-brothers-in-law, Kim and Steve Christian, Kay and David James and Kari Collins, all of Iowa Park; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michial Brady’s memory to the American Heart Association or the Forsyth County Relay for Life.
